You are an actor.
You should always work to be the best you can.
You should keep on learning and growing.
Do not tell you that if you are not a "working actor" or have credits you are anything less of an actor.
Our experience, goals, history and even out talents differ....but we are all actors, even those who do not yet know they are.
Focus on the positive....on your carrier, on you family, on real friends, on Faith, and on positive lessons from hardships or setbacks. Never attack someone for choosing other paths in life for to help others rather than seek self glory and the direction in life you see as the one a "true actor" or "artist" would take. Look at your "wins", your successes, the things in life that help you stay positive and happy, healthy and able to do what you love!
There are many negative voices in Las Vegas, in other markets and in all our lives. Do not drop them from our life, for the negatives could be messages you can use and turn to the positive. But do not believe them or let them hold you back, unless you find truth and can turn it all around to the positive.
My former student and young champion for others, Zachariah Bowie Waller knows that bullying and negatives in life are all too common, and that a few cause harm to the many, if you let them. I applaud his championing the fight against bullying, as he pursues is passion for acting. We should all be more like him.
Join in the fight for the right, the positive, helping others and yourselves. Ignore negative attacks, swear words that are not needed, those who play on your ego and follow your heart.
If you are religious as I am than trust in your Faith and your God.
If not, find it in yourself.
Enjoy life but avoid what destroys your talents and positive drive...drugs, alcohol, people who would rather poison you than help you, people who are out to use you rather than offer their own help to add to what you already have,
Only you have your life experience, your passion, your feelings, your talents, your specific training and education and your heart.
You are unique.
Surround yourself with love, trust, faith, and while learning from experience and failures or negatives, turn life into a positive.
I have friends and people I know who studied acting and became prima ballerinas, who studied art and became writers, who pursued acting and became teachers, who were singers and are known for their acting, and those who became agents, directors or choose to use their craft and talents for their church, community, or hobby.
Do not let anyone put you down if your path changes.
Enjoy the ride and know that you make your on decisions, not thse who attack you, belittle you, push to sell you something, put stars in our eyes or seek to build themselves up at your expense.
The best to all of you.
I am here if you need me,
